Infrastructure separation and operational handover

IEN coordinated a national retailer’s move away from parent-company services, with staged implementation and operational handover.

The challenge

The separation of two distributed retail businesses required replacement of an imposed supplier and a new infrastructure design. Contractual constraints and a time-limited Transition Services Agreement shaped delivery.

What IEN did

  • Led programme governance and coordinated internal and third-party teams.
  • Used pilot sites, procedures, staging and testing to support rollout.
  • Developed an automated telephony configuration process.
  • Planned the supplier cutover and staged transfer to operational support.
